SAN DIEGO (AP) - Federal authorities say they seized $2 million worth of marijuana and narcotic bath salts in separate Southern California incidents.

U-T San Diego (http://bit.ly/VT0CVM ) says Border Patrol agents spotted a panga boat around midnight Monday off Laguna Beach. They seized 26 bundles of marijuana that had been unloaded from the boat and arrested nine men.

The pot has an estimated street value of $1.8 million.

On Monday afternoon, agents seized an estimated $210,000 worth of bath salts from hidden compartments in a car that was stopped at a Pine Valley checkpoint in San Diego County.

The driver, a U.S. citizen, was arrested.
