While the Central Coast is covered in a high surf advisory the open waters are not in an advisory however increasing swells at long periods should be noted. Long period swells contain more energy than short period swells.
Saturday: NE winds 5 to 10 kt in the morning becoming variable 10 kt or less. Wind waves 2 ft or less. W swell 2 to 4 ft at 22 seconds Building to 4 to 6 ft at 20 seconds in the afternoon.
Saturday Night: Winds variable 10 kt or less. Wind waves 2 ft or less. W swell 5 to 7 ft at 20 seconds.
Sunday: NE winds 5 to 10 kt in the morning becoming variable 10 kt or less. Wind waves 2 ft or less. W swell 7 to 8 ft at 20 seconds.
Sunday Night: Winds variable 10 kt or less becoming NE 5 to 10 kt after midnight. Wind waves 2 ft or less. W swell 7 to 8 ft.
Monday: NE winds 5 to 10 kt in the morning becoming variable 10 kt or less. Wind waves 2 ft or less. W swell 7 to 8 ft.
Monday Night: Winds variable 10 kt or less becoming NE 5 to 10 kt after midnight. Wind waves 2 ft or less. W swell 6 to 7 ft.
Tuesday: NE winds 5 to 15 kt. Wind waves 2 ft or less. W swell 6 to 7 ft.
Wednesday: N winds 5 to 15 kt. Wind waves 2 ft or less. W swell 7 to 8 ft. : N winds 5 to 15 kt. Wind waves 2 ft or less. W swell 7 to 8 ft.
