Saying "I do" could save your life.

A new study found married people had about 60% fewer heart attacks than their unmarried peers, no matter their age.

Among those who did suffer a cardiac event, married men and women were significantly more likely to survive, especially among middle aged couples.

Researchers say more studies are needed, but speculate that married couples have better overall health and social support, and many times can get help faster than those living alone.
