Mellow forecast this week

Above normal temperatures will continue through the middle of the week. Afternoon temperatures today are anywhere up to five degrees warmer than yesterday due to a weak marine layer incursion. There is no heat wave in sight. Temperatures are expected to return to near normal as high pressure weakens and a weak trough moves through the Pacific Coast between Wednesday and Saturday. Temperatures will cool down before a weekend warm up.
