ANTIOCH, Calif. (AP) - Three men have been charged with murder for the shooting death of a man they wrongly suspected in the theft of their clothes in a California apartment laundry room.
Antioch police investigators say 32-year-old Juan Jose Hernandez was killed last month after an argument with the suspects over missing laundry.
The Contra Costa Times (http://bit.ly/1266UnB) says 24-year-old Jeremy Mark Griffin, 24-year-old Boise Alexander Duggan and 28-year-old Johntue Felix Hinds were charged on Wednesday with murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
Police say the Griffin and Duggan discovered their clothes missing from the laundry room and Hinds joined them when they went to an apartment to confront Hernandez.
Hernandez wasn't involved in the theft of the clothes.
