Low clouds continue to push in during the night and morning hours with afternoon clearing over the weekend. This will result in more highs in the 60s and 70s at the beaches with 70s in the coastal valleys. Inland temps will again reach the 90s Saturday however changes are in store for Sunday. A mid level low will spin off the coast and move over the area Sunday, that'll allow cooler air to drive further inland so interior temps Sunday and Monday will only get into the upper 80s.
A by-product may be some muggy air which also wraps into the low. It may produce some showers over the Sierra but not locally.
By the mid portion of next week that low is gone and interior temps again warm into the mid-90s with little change at the beaches.
