Morning clouds will give way to mostly sunny skies today, clearing and warming for the weekend

Good morning and happy black Friday! We're starting off with mostly cloudy skies today, but if you're thinking about lining up in front of a department store, you won't have to fight off any rain.

The chances for moisture out of this low pressure system continue to diminish, with most of the upper level activity beginning to slide off to the southwest.

Later today, we'll see a ridge of high pressure begin to move in, bringing warmer temperatures and clearing skies for the weekend. We'll see temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s through Sunday, then the mercury will drop significantly. Look for another chance of rain beginning Tuesday, and highs inland stuck in the mid-50s!

Here's a quick look at your high temperatures:

Atascadero-70
Morro Bay-66

Pismo Beach-66
