Mustangs Bring Confidence to Fresno

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Cal Poly might be severe underdogs entering their Saturday matchup with Fresno State, but the mustangs will bring plenty of confidence to the road.

Not only does Poly have experience beating FBS opponents, which they did against Wyoming in non-conference play last year, but seven FCS schools beat FBS opponents in week one of the college football season. Two of those teams, Southern Utah and Eastern Washington, come from the Big Sky conference.

Both teams are looking to stay unbeaten on the season; Cal Poly topped San Diego handily last Saturday, while Fresno State survived Rutgers at home in an overtime thriller.

Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00 from Fresno, stay tuned to KSBY for complete coverage throughout the day.
