Nine Mission Prep players in All-Star Classic

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Nine football players from Mission Prep High School will take part in Saturday's FCA All-Star Classic.

"I'm really excited to be in the All-star game this year," said KSBY Player of the Year Patrick Laird, "it was actually one of my goals this season to make the team."

Cal Poly recruit and defensive back Calvin Levisay also made it onto the All-star roster.

"I've got a bunch of buddies that have played in the game in the past and they've talked about how much fun its been to play with the guys in the county," said Levisay, "it just fuels my fire even more to be able to go out there and show what I can do."

This will be the second All-Star classic that Mission Prep players will take part in.

The rest of the Misison Prep players include: Trevor Fernandez, Baily Hungerford, Matt Swan, Brenden Ikeda, Seth Van Maanen, Forrest Pottmeyer, and Evan Talbert.

The FCA All-Star Classic is on Saturday at War Memorial Stadium in Paso Robles.
