Norovirus has emerged as the biggest cause of severe tummy troubles in young kids.
Researchers at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reviewed data on more than 140,000 children under the age five, who went to a doctor for acute gastro-enteritis.
Norovirus was detected in 21% of cases. The Rotavirus was found in 12% of cases. Doctors say this indicates the rotavirus vaccine is effective.
