The ten defendants charged in the murder of Santa Maria resident Anthony Ibarra entered not guilty pleas in court last week.
Their jury trial was set for May 12, 2014.
A total of eleven people were arrested following the 28-year old's murder back in March. His body was found in a U-Haul truck parked on an Orcutt street. Investigators say he was tortured and killed at a home in Santa Maria.
One of the original defendants, Carmen Cardenas, pleaded no contest to being an accessory after the murder and was sentenced to three years and four months in prison.
