The California Highway Patrol will be out in full force Super Bowl weekend, looking for drunk drivers.

"Fans don't let fans drive drunk" is the message they're leaving. They want to remind everyone to designate a sober driver on game day. The CHP says alcohol was involved in 25% of the collisions on Super Bowl Sunday in 2010. Six people died and 124 others were injured in those crashes throughout California.

The CHP will work will local law enforcement to discourage people from driving under the influence. On average over the past three years, the CHP has made nearly 450 DUI arrests on Super Bowl Sunday.

Officers are also asking the public to call 911 if they suspect someone is driving drunk.
