A rollover accident on Highway 166 Sunday morning sent one person to the hospital.

It happened around 10 a.m. near Stubblefield Road.

Crews from Santa Barbara County Fire and Kern County Fire departments responded.

Officials say the 79-year-old man's car went off the road and then rolled.

They saw the Jaws of Life and other tools were used to cut the roof off of the car to get the man out.

They say he had serious injuries, although they did not appear to be life-threatening.

He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
