The new Santa Maria Valley Humane Society facility is almost ready to open.
On Saturday SMVHS is opening up the facility for tours.
Pet Project Preview Day is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free.
Organizers say they will group people together, give them a passport card, and send them through to visit 8 tour stations within the facility.
If you visit each one and get the passport punched, you're eligible for a raffle.
Once the facility is open, it will be used for pet adoptions and as a spay and neuter clinic.
It's located on 1687 W. Stowell Road, Santa Maria, between Blosser & Black Roads.
