Owners of Red Hot Pottery liquidating what's left

Last month, after 13 years in business, the owners of San Luis Obispo's Red Hot Pottery closed their doors. Now they're cleaning house and making room for whatever is next for the space.

This Saturday and Sunday (if anything is left after Saturday) they will open the doors again and EVERYTHING is for sale. This includes the paints, brushes, samples, glass display case, kilns, shelves, metal storage cabinets, file cabinets, computer, tables & chairs, molds, and brushes. "Everything is going" Monica and Chris Detrick told those on their email list. "If there is something you really MUST have ahead of time give me a call in advance at (805) 215-9188." the email says.

It also makes a last pitch at finding a buyer for the business. "Even the business itself is for sale at a ridicules price! If you are interested in the business please respond back or call me directly right away. I believe the business does have many years of life left in it for the right person. We have a database of almost 2,000 friends, a loyal customer base to start from, a great reputation, a fantastic business model and a well known name. I would be happy to answer any questions or go over the details if you are interested." The email is signed "With great appreciation, Monica and Chris Detrick"
