Local golfers were out on the green Friday to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation.
The charity golf tournament at the Monarch Dunes Golf Course in Nipomo raised money to help grant wishes of six local children.

A new clinic opened in San Luis Obispo Friday. The Healing Hands Clinic is aimed at helping senior citizens.

The Lompoc Fire Department held a ceremony on Friday to celebrate the promotions of three department members.
Captain Mike Brown was promoted to Battalion Chief, Engineer Jeff Edman was promoted to Captain, and Firefighter John Stefan was promoted to Engineer.

Lompoc Police say a man reported missing earlier this week was found safe in Pismo Beach and has been reunited with his family.
Police were looking for Blake Lewolt, 24, after he was last seen in Lompoc at the New Life Christian Centers Homeless Shelter on May 9th. There was concern for him because he takes several medications and has been diagnosed with schizophrenia.
Police say Lewolt was found in good health.
