Efforts to restore the old Cayucos Pier got a boost today from the Paso Robles Elks Club. The Elks held a chicken barbecue for the cause weekend before last, sold t-shirts and solicited donations. Today they presented a check to the Cayucos Pier Project for more than $1,300 dollars. They say even though members live in Paso, they get over to Cayucos often and want to do everything they can to save the pier. For more information on the Cayucos Pier Project, click here.
