Officials with PG&E say a broken connector caused hundreds of people to lose power in San Luis Obispo Thursday night.

Officials say 580 PG&E customers lost power at 7:29 p.m.

Almost an hour later, all but 140 customers had their power restored.

The line, which was near the 3600 block of South Higuera Street, was repaired at 1:15 a.m. and the rest of the customers' power was restored by 1:31 a.m.
