The San Luis Obispo Sheriff's Department says early reports of a plane crash Saturday afternoon are innacurate.

A helicopter made a precautionary landing on private property near Avila Beach Drive and Highway 101 in Pismo Beach.

Officials say they got the call at around 3:40 p.m. Saturday.

The pilot landed because he was worried about mechanical problems.

No injuries were reported.
