Atascadero Police are looking for the person they say robbed the CitiBank in Atascadero Tuesday afternoon.
Police are also looking for an accomplice, who was waiting in a getaway car.
The bank heist happened shortly before 1 p.m. at the bank located at 6955 El Camino Real. No one was hurt during the robbery.
The robber went into CitiBank and demanded money from a teller, said police. He then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and got into a dark colored sedan.
The robber was described as an African American man in his late 30s 6'2'' - 6'4'' 260-300 pounds with a shaved head. He was last seen wearing a dark t-shirt with a Reebok logo in blue and red on the front. He was wearing jeans and had a pair of black sunglasses.
The robber's accomplice was described as an African American woman in her late 30s, 5'8'' tall with a medium build and shoulder length black hair.
The two were last seen driving a dark colored sedan southbound on El Camino Real toward Highway 41.
The California Highway Patrol is assisting Atascadero Police with the investigation. CHP officials say they initially sent a CHP airplane to help, but the airplane is no longer at the scene.
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office is also assisting with the search.
Anyone with information should call the Atascadero Police Department's Investigation Unit at (805) 461-5051.
