Police asking for public's help identifying woman found in ocean near UCSB

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help identifying the college-aged woman who was found dead in the water near Campus Point at UCSB. Her body was found at 8:20 a.m. Saturday. Detectives from the Coroner's Bureau and Criminal Investigations Bureau haven't been able to identify her. They released the following description of her in hopes that someone will know who she is: She is a college-aged Caucasian or Hispanic, approximately 5'6" tall and 107 pounds. She has brown hair that hangs past her shoulders and brown eyes. She was wearing a purple sundress with a black tank top underneath and black lace up boots. Officials say there are thousands of people attending Deltopia this weekend, and the victim may not be a local. Deltopia is a large spring break party in Isla Vista. If you have any information, please call the Santa Barbara County Emergency Dispatch Center at (805) 683-2724.
