Police: Girl, 2, dies after alleged abuse by father in Paso Robles

Paso Robles Police say a two-year-old girl has died in a Bay Area hospital after investigators say she was abused by her father.
As a result of the girl's death, police say Herbert Brown III has been charged with murder and assault resulting in the death of a child. An autopsy is planned for later this week.
Police say they were called to the 200 block of San Ysabel Avenue early Monday morning on a report that the toddler was not breathing. Investigators say the girl had visible head and body injuries.
Police say she died at 10 p.m. Tuesday.
