Local runners are preparing for the "Miracle Miles for Kids Walk and Run" that's happening on Saturday.
This is the Family Care Network's 10th year putting on the walk-run. They are getting close to hitting the $1 million mark.
Participants picked up their bibs Thursday as they look forward to Saturday's race.
The 10K course runs along the coast from Morro Rock to Cayucos Pier.
Jamie Baker, Community Resource Development Dir., told KSBY News, "They walk it, the run it, they skip it, they have fun. And this is about having fun and celebrating all the work that we do in the county."
Money raised from the race helps the Family Care Network meet the needs of more than 1,400 local kids.
