Rain holds off until late Friday

A small break in the rain Thursday and early Friday before another system gets to the Central Coast, however unlike recent storms the Saturday storm doesn't look particularly wet. Only .10-.30" of rain is in my forecast.
It will not be particularly warm however with only mid 50s and lower 60s.
Overnight lows from Thursday into Friday look just a few degrees below normal with 30s away from the beaches and low 40s near the water.
The Friday system doesn't get here until the evening at the earliest so during the daytime, Friday also looks fairly good for a late December day.
Once the system arrives Friday night into Saturday it'll be a little moisture starved which will keep the totals under .50". It is a colder system and will produce some mountain snow, but probably not locally.
The real questions are about the long term forecast. Computer models are about as far off as they get on the subject. One model says sunny and warm another says rain the middle of next week. I will probably keep it dry in the TV forecast but we'll check out more info before making the call later today.
