A Red Flag Warning is in effect for parts of the Central Coast and local fire agencies have increased staffing in response.
The warning is in effect from 6:00 am, June 19 to 10:00 am, June 20 for Santa Barbara, Ventura and Los Angeles Counties.
A Red Flag Warning means critical fire weather conditions can occur because of a combination of strong winds, low humidity and warm temperatures.
The Santa Barbara County Fire Department says it will increase staffing by three engines, one dozer and one battalion chief during the Red Flag Warning period.
CAL FIRE in San Luis Obispo County says it is also mobilizing additional firefighters.
