Report of burn victim at vegetation fire burning in Los Alamos

There are reports a person may have suffered burn injuries while trying to put out a vegetation fire currently burning near Los Alamos.

The Santa Barbara County Fire Department says it has crews responding to a vegetation fire at 9233 Alisos Canyon Road. That's about two miles away from Highway 101.

The Fire Department says it has sent a full brush response team to the area. There is no word yet on the size of the fire.

Fire officials say there is a report of a burn victim. According to emergency scanner traffic, the burn victim is being treated by paramedics at the scene.
