Road construction starts Monday on Highway 1 near Cayucos

Drivers in Cayucos can expect some delays starting Monday morning.
Crews will be working on a three-mile section of Highway 1, north of Cayucos, from North Ocean Avenue to just south of Villa Creek Road.
Caltrans says intermittent shoulder closures will take place Mondays through Thursdays from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and until 2 p.m. on Friday.
Work on the Estero Bluffs Project is expected to be completed sometime this summer.
