The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office is searching for a plane that reportedly crashed in the Pismo Beach area.

They received a call at 3:41 p.m. Officials say they're still searching for the plane, which is somewhere near Mattie Road, east of Highway 101.

They say it may have been an emergency landing, but they don't have much information at this time. According to the department, no one was injured.
