Santa Maria Police search for street gang member

Santa Maria Police are on the look-out for known gang member, Ricardo Cruz.
Wednesday night police told KSBY News a call came in about a domestic dispute at a home in Santa Maria.
When they arrived, Cruz saw the police, and ran away. That's when police said they were able to identify him as a gang member.
According to police, Cruz has tattoos all over his body, including his face. Police said he is armed with a gun.
Late this afternoon officers set up a perimeter around Battles Road and Thornburg Street, the neighborhood where the dispute happened.
The perimeter has since been taken down, but officers said they are still searching for Cruz.
