Santa Maria Fire Department officials say no one was hurt after a home caught on fire in Santa Maria Sunday night.
The fire broke out around 6:42 p.m. in the 2200 block of Mon Chere Lane.
Officials say the fire started in the garage and spread to the inside of the home.
Firefighters had the fire under control in about 20 minutes.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but officials say it does not appear to be suspicious.
Damage is estimated at $300,000.
