Soldier homecoming planned on Saturday in SLO

The Central Coast has a chance this weekend to give a solider a proper homecoming in San Luis Obispo.

Marine Corporal Bewick is returning on Saturday from a recent deployment in Afghanistan. Cpl. Bewick is the Marine seen farthest on the right in the featured photo.

Cpl. Bewick's father is with the Grover Beach Police Department, and is a veteran as well.

People are encouraged to go to the San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport on Saturday between 4:15 - 4:30 p.m. for Bewick's arrival. For more information on the event, click here.
