Rates of sexually transmitted diseases are increasing, especially among some groups.

A new report from the Centers for Disease Control finds chlamydia infections increased 8% from 2010 to 2011.

Reported gonorrhea infections rose 4%.

Young adults and gay and bisexual men were particularly affected.

Both sexually transmitted diseases can lead to serious health problems, like infertility in women, if left untreated.
