The American Academy of Neurology is urging doctors to stop prescribing study drugs to children who don't need them.

A new statement from the academy address the growing trend of teens using memory enhancing drugs before tests.

Neurologists say it's a misuse of medications and not in the best interest of any child whose brain is still developing.

They note there are alternatives to these mind-enhancing drugs, like getting more sleep, better nutrition, and improving exercise routines.
