Two local schools were placed on lock down Thursday.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department says it was looking for the man pictured, who allegedly stabbed a transient in Goleta.
Deputies say Luis Velasquez stabbed the victim after a dispute involving four transients.
El camino and San Marcos High School were placed on lock down while Deputies searched for Velasquez.
They later found him hiding in the homeless encampment.
