A local man celebrated a big milestone Saturday. Templeton resident, Forest Willard, turned 106.
About 40 members of his family travelled from around the country to celebrate his big day.
Willard was born in Vermont, but has lived on the Central Coast since the 1950's. He said the biggest change he's seen during his life is the invention of the airplane.
When asked how he stays so healthy, his daughter, Joy King, said, "he doesn't believe in stressing. If anybody needed to stress, mother could take care of that. I'd say he's enjoyed every day of his life and still does."
Willard has been to over 100 countries in his life. Happy Birthday Forest!
