Test launch from Vandenberg Air Force Base scheduled for Saturday

Vandenberg Air Force Base officials say there is a launch planned Saturday.

It's a test flight for elements of the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense system. It will not be armed.

The window for the launch, weather permitting, is between 2 and 6 p.m. on the North Base.
