Tigers' Nick Hill named FNH Player of the Week after 3 pick performance

San Luis Obispo High cornerback Nick Hill became the first defensive player of the season to earn the Friday Night Highlights Player of the Week award.

The senior intercepted three passes in the Tigers' 35-21 win last Friday at Pioneer Valley. He returned his third interception 50 yards for a pick-six in the fourth quarter to seal the victory for San Luis Obispo.

"It's fun. It's something I dream about when I got to bed Thursday night. It's nice to finally get the work to pay off and to have that kind of success in a game is really exciting," said Hill on Monday about his dream performance.

Hill has five interceptions in the last two games for the Tigers and a Pac 7-leading 6 on the season.

For winning, Nick receives a gift card from our Sponsor Subway.
