TV personality Huell Howser dies

Television personality Huell Howser has died, according to KCET.

Howser traveled the state as host of "California's Gold." It was broadcast on public television stations.

He retired from the show at the end of November.

Howser was 67-years old. KCET says he passed away Sunday night. There is no word yet on what caused his death.
