SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (AP) - Despite losing its leading scorer and rebounder, Alan Williams, to a sprained ankle midway through the first half, UC Santa Barbara battled to a 66-53 victory over Pacific on Saturday night.
UC Santa Barbara (8-15, 4-8 Big West) got 13 points apiece from Taran Brown and Michael Bryson. T.J. Taylor scored 11 points and Williams had 10 points and seven rebounds in just eight minutes of play.
Kyle Boswell chipped in with 9 points, hitting all three of his shots from 3-point range. UC Santa Barbara also had a 40-29 rebounding advantage.
Ross Rivera scored 15 points to lead Pacific (13-10, 7-4) and Lorenzo McCloud added 10.
