The Santa Barbara County Fire Department says a brush fire that broke out near Lompoc Tuesday is now contained.
The fire started around 2:45 PM on Cebada Canyon Road.
It burned 10 acres.
Some homes in the area were threatened for a short time, but a large number of fire crews attacked the flames, with help from air tankers and helicopters.
Firefighters aren't sure at this point what started the fire, but say downed power lines in the area could be the cause. PG&E is on scene to repair those lines.
