A fire captain at the scene of an accident on Highway 101 South near Nipomo tells KSBY one person has major injuries after the Saturday morning crash.
It happened around 10:30 a.m. near Willow Road.
The fire captain says the driver, an adult male who was not wearing his seatbelt, was traveling at a high rate of speed when he swerved and hit the guardrail.
The vehicle landed on its roof.
Traffic was backed up in the area for a while after the crash.
