POINT REYES NATIONAL SEASHORE, Calif. (AP) - Gray whales and elephant seals are putting on a show at Point Reyes National Seashore, delighting beachgoers.

The Marin Independent Journal reports (http://bit.ly/132AIlt ) that massive gray whales are swimming nearshore in the midst of a 10,000-mile migration, and the large elephant seal bulls are making themselves at home on the park's beaches.

The National Park Service is offering a shuttle on weekends through mid-April to help people locate areas in the park where the sea mammals can be seen safely.

Gray whales are moving south from the cold Bering and Chukchi seas off Siberia and Alaska down south to warmer Baja California.

The elephant seal males can grow up to 3,500 pounds, and they come to shore to mate and give birth.
