Winter heat is here.
After a long cold front, the Central Coast will continue to warm up this weekend, with temperatures in the 70s.
The unseasonably warm sunny weather should stick around until Tuesday, but that doesn't mean warm nights. Overnight lows are expected to be in the 30s for most of the area, but some interior valleys could drop into the 20s.
There's a high surf advisory for Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties. According to the National Weather Service, waves could top 15 feet -- and rip currents will most likely be strong at local beaches through Monday.
An increase in cloud cover and slightly cooler weather is expected by late next week as low pressure develops to the North and to the Southwest.
Enjoy the sunshine!
