With some offshore winds and building high pressure over California the marine layer has been getting cleared very early leading to sunshine and warming temperatures and this should continue through Thursday. Beaches will still only hit the 60s and 70s again today and again on Thursday but interior temps will hit the low 90s Wednesday and likely jump into the high 90s Thursday and Friday. Onshore dominant flow returns Friday and that'll bring back low clouds and cooler temps to the coast, it'll take a day or two for that cooler air to work inland. We'll keep cooling slight through Labor Day with roughly average daytime highs in my forecast, after that I expect a little warming through the balance of the week.
