A warm day along the coast and another hot day inland is on tap for the start of the Labor Day weekend. High pressure will hang around for a few more days producing triple digit temperatures for many parts of the interior valleys. Many beaches will get well into the 70's, while the coastal valleys should top out in the 80's. Slightly cooler temps on Sunday and Monday, then low pressure and increased onshore flow will start a slight cooling trend. Interior valleys will be back into the 80's by the middle of next week. The marine layer also returns Monday night. Until then, mostly sunny skies after mid morning and afternoon clearing along the coast. Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend!
