A cold front exiting the area will allow high pressure to build in behind it, and as it does so offshore winds will develop as early as Monday night. The offshore could be as strong as 20mph into early Tuesday. The typical windy spots in SLO county could see gusty conditions. Skies will become generally clear and highs will return into the 70s Tuesday and could reach the upper 70s nd even some low 80s the balance of the week as high pressure takes a firm hold over the region's weather. There is a chance that a more active pattern could develop around the 20th, however models are inconsistent at this point as to how strong any storms could be but early indications are not for a "miracle March" finish.
